The Film Museum lies in the heart of Oslo. It is part of the Norwegian Film Institute. The exhibitions explore the story of the development of cinema in Norway and the rest of the world. There are special activities that utilise interactive and audiovisual technology designed to amuse children. Guided tours are available for groups by prior arrangement. There is a cafeteria here and a gift shop which also sells an excellent range of films on DVD.
