The Energihuset science centre is located in one of the northernmost towns in the world, Hammerfest. It is located in beauiful surroundings on the site of the first power station in Northern Europe, where hydro electric power was used to generate the power for the street lighting. Here you can learn about the history of the power station and about a range of other power generation processes. The centre features interactive exhibits.
