Ekkerøy is located on the coast, in the municipality of Vadsø, in Finnmark. There is a fine colony of seabirds nesting on the cliff here, which attracts many interested people and enthusiasts. It is an established and protected nature reserve. It is the only "bird cliff" in Norway that is accessible by road. There are several marked paths in the area.
