Eidanger Church lies a couple of miles to the southeast of Porsgrunn. It is one of the many medieval stone churches in the Telemark region. This church was dedicated to Our Lady in the twelfth century. A wooden extension was added in the eighteenth century, which includes a tower. The interior includes an old font, fine silverware and a medieval painting depicting The Ascension.
