Dalsnuten lies in the countryside to the north of Sandnes. The mountain rises to an altitude of three hundred and twenty four metres above sea level. The walk to the summit is through relatively easy terrain, making it suitable for younger and less experienced hill walkers. There is a path to the top from Dale, and another from a parking place to off the main number 13 highway. You should allow two to three hours to get to the top and back again.
