The Tregaarden Christmas House lies in the heart of the little town of Drøbak, which is about twenty miles south of Oslo on the banks of the Oslo Fjord. The quaint and picturesque streets have given it an association with Christmas. The Christmas House is open all year round and has a huge range of decorative items and other products for sale. It is housed in a century old former chapel. There is a special post office where you can get a special Christmas postmark. Visitors to the town are warned to watch out for the ubiquitous Scandinavian Christmas goblins, known as Nisser.
