The Centre for Local History lies in the heart of Aurland, in the same building as tourist information. You will find a range of exhibitions here concentrating on local history and culture, as well as emigration from the area over time. The Sivle Collection contains some of the personal effects of the poet Per Sivle, who was born in Flåm in the nineteenth century. There is also a photographic archive here.
