The Bøyabreen Glacier lies to the north and west of Sogndal, near Fjærland. There are excellent views of it from the main highway. If you are lucky you may see huge chunks of ice falling spectacularly. There are also views of parts of the glacier from the Norwegian Glacier Museum. Some of the best views of this natural wonder are from the panoramic windows of the Brevasshytta cafe.
