The Butterfly Park, located to the north and west of Sandnes city centre, is the finest facility of its kind in Norway. The park houses an impressive collection of butterflies of all shapes and sizes, that originate from all over the world. You can follow the life cycle of many beautiful species, from caterpillar, through crysallis to winged creature. The butterflies live among luxuriant tropical vegetation in specially created hothouses. Guided tours and school visits are hosted.
