Buerdalen valley lies about eight kilometres to the west of Odda town centre. It is a beautiful green valley surrounded by high mountains. It is particularly popular with walkers and cyclists. There is a campsite here that hires bikes. At the far end of the valley you will find the Buer glacier. It is possible to walk an established trail to the foot of the glacier. Guides are available to take you onto the glacier itself.
