Brekkeparken is found in the grounds of the Telemark Museum in the heart of Skien. The lovely park was originally laid out to accompany the manor house in 1815, in English landscape style. Brekkeparken won a prize in 2002 for “the greenest park in Norway". It is in part an open air museum containing buildings and houses from all over Telemark. You will also find a playground for children, winding paths, a pavilion and a duck pond with a romantic bridge. There is a restaurant in the grounds.
