Bommen Elvemuseum lies to the north of Kristiansand in the county of Vennesla, on the other side of Vennesla fjord from Vennesla town. It is thought to be the oldest dwelling place in the region. It dates back to the seventeenth century. The local lumber industry began here. You will find a renovated forge here and a River Museum. There is a cafeteria.
