Bodin Church

Bodin Church lies about three kilometres from Bodø town centre. The church was built around the middle of the thirteenth century in stone. The tower is a later addition. An aisle was added in 1784. The church has an interesting Renaissance pulpit made around 1650. Perhaps the most interesting piece of interior furniture is the altarpiece, which is in Baroque style. It is late seventeenth century and shows Biblical scenes.
