The Blomqvist Auction House is the oldest and largest in Norway. It is located just to the east of the castle park. It has been established since 1870. Blomqvist specialise in Norwegian art and antiques and are the authorities on the works of Edvard Munch. Browsing the auction room gallery is a delight, whether you are looking to purchase or not. As well as paintings, sculptures, and graphic works there the displays often feature furniture, silver, jewellery, quality craft work and textiles.
