Bjugn Church enjoys a beautiful situation on the side of the Bjugnfjord near Tinboden. There has been a church on this site since the seventeenth century. The last church burnt down in 1952, and the present building was completed in 1956. It is cruciform, with a tower, and is painted red. The style is traditional. It seats around 270 and serves a local Lutheran population.
