The Bjørn West Museum lies in the sparsely populated municipality of Masfjorden, to the north of Bergen. It tells the story of a Norwegian Resistance guerilla group based in the hills of this area, ready to operate behind the German lines in the event of an Allied invasion during World War II. The museum contains an impressive collection of weapons, equipment and personal effects. There are multimedia shows in English, German and Norwegian.
