Bjerggata (or Bjerggaten) lies in the centre of the southern Norwegian city of Sandefjord. It is lined with old wooden houses built in the nineteenth century. In the 1800s, this street was populated with craftsmen and artisans. The houses also provided homes for sailors. Now a desirable residential district, the old buildings are extremely well preserved. The remains of old shops and workshops can be seen.
