Bergens Tekniske Museum (The Bergen Museum of Technology) lies not far from the centre of town, towards the bridge that takes you across to Damsgaard. The museum contains plenty to amuse and engage the whole family. It is housed in an old tram shed. You can take rides on veteran trams. There is a wealth of machinery here including printing presses and domestic equipment. There are many veteran vehicles, including old fire engines, buses and cars, as well as model railway displays.
