Bamble Church lies just off the main E18 road about five kilometres to the south of Bamble town centre. The church was designed by G.A Lammers. It was consecrated in 1845. It is a large church, seating five hundred, built of timber. The style is neo Gothic and incorporates a tower with spire, added at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The church possesses a fine example of Christian III’s Bible, dating from the sixteenth century.
