The Royal Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection is housed in a modern building right by Oslo airport, which is about fifty kilometres north of the city centre. The museum contains more than thirty historic aircraft, including rare examples from World War II. The collection gives a fascinating insight into military and aviation history over the past century. The museum has a cafeteria, library and shop.
